Two Ways to Wear White Flares

Wear Your White Flares Over and Over Again

I had a pair of white flares from high school I’d been wearing for the past eternity. They were an Abercrombie & Fitch sale rack find while I trolled the mall with my girl friends with extra cash from my summer job. Somewhere along the way, low-rise denim went out of style and my hips needed something a little more flattering. I’d say I had a good run with those pants. I’ve been hunting for a new pair of white flares for about a year now. Because I’m redecorating my apartment,  I’ve been binging on Amazon lately. Fortunately, I stumbled upon these for $39 one late night.

They arrived a bit long for me, which is normal. I dropped them off at a tailor to hem them for a medium heel. I wanted to be able to wear them a variety of ways throughout the spring, summer, and until I needed a new pair 10 years from now. I haven’t found a more flattering pair of pants since I met my Levi’s during my trip to the Leesburg Corner Premium Outlets.   More good news? The pants come in several washes, including a great light jean I just ordered.

Let’s Talk About These Looks

I heard from a wise woman recently that the easiest way to live a sustainable life is to shop inside your own closet. These white flares will likely become one of the most used items in my closet. I’ve paired them here with some other killer essentials in my closet. I’ll be taking this cute black backpack from Mod & Soul with the everywhere this spring and summer, too. Shop them all here:
