New Glasses and an Old Jumpsuit Breathe New Life into my Work Wear
I wore a jumpsuit to work the other day, friends! It was absolutely liberating. My best friend recently gave it to me. Even as a blogger I still accept free clothes from friends and family! It’s part of the great circle of fashion.
As soon as I tried it on, it was hard to take off. It is comfortable and flattering. This obsession lead me to try to pull it off at work. A CEO I work with wears a jumpsuit from time to time and I think it’s the classiest thing I’ve ever seen. There is no reason we can’t have fun with our work wear.
I threw on a blazer, my trusty nude heels, a fun tassel necklace and my new glasses for an office ready look. I love these new glasses because they are a little larger. Though I shopped for the eyeglasses online with a try-on feature (so helpful!) I didn’t anticipate them looking so large. I forget I have such a small head. But, I was pleasantly surprised that they grew on me. The larger frame makes it so much easier to see–I’m farsighted. It also helps me channel my inner 70s babe.

What’s really great about this look? I can swap out my blazer for a black leather jacket and my nude heels for black strappy ones for a night out. OR, I can slip on my flats and put my hair in a bun for an easy day of errands or traveling.
