Shop Five New Years Looks Without the Sequins

Shop My Look

Christmas has come and gone. Maybe you’re back to the grind, maybe you’ve taken some time off. Either way, we’re all stuck in this weird space between Christmas and New Years Eve right now. It’s always a bit dreamy as we prepare for parties and plan out our goals and calendars for 2019. There’s one important thing on the to-do list this week: get your New Years Eve outfit planned out.

Whether you’re headed to the New Years Eve Party at the Hofheimer Building in Richmond or headed somewhere else, you don’ have to wear the standard sequins and sparkles. I put together five different looks to consider to ring in the new year. You’ll still have time to order online and get them before you step out on Monday. Some of these items I actually have already. Some of them are on the way to me in the mail.

P.S. I’m giving away tickets to the party at the Hofheimer on Instagram here.

Fiery Feline

I am really into bright, fiery reds lately. Red has always been favorite color to wear. Lately I’m leaning toward the brighter side of the hue. It immediately gives me confidence. Don’t forget to get a killer lipstick to go with this New Years eve outfit.

Punky Cheeta

I love the idea of pairing an animal print with a vibrant, edgy shoe for more of a rocker vibe. I like cheetah print dresses that leave a little bit to the imagination. Shop this look for New Year’s Eve:

Snow White

I almost went to a NYE wedding. I wasn’t going to be able to wear white. Now that I’m not, this might be my move. Stay warm with a cute, fluffy coat.

LBD Upgrade

When it comes to little black dresses, I’m all about structure. I fell in love with both of these dresses when I was shopping around. Rock it with shoes that are just as understated, but interesting.

Lilac Lady

I wore this dress a few times this summer. Lavender was a big color for 2018. I wrote about it here.I have had this jacket for some time now I discovered it in a thrift shop before I went to NYFW in 2017. I discovered on identical to it from Forever 21 below. As for the dress, I wore it all summer long.
