At-Home Facial Tools from Amazon + With Simplicity Beauty

As you know, I love my spa and salon experiences. I appreciate a high level of expertise and attention when it comes to my skin and my hair. When I pay attention to these things, my mind and soul are also able to shine brighter. While I still plan to take advantage of these special places near and far, I have grown to love a weekly at-home facial practice. It takes about 30-40 minutes.

I’ve added some new at-home spa tools from Amazon to my self-care collection along with clean beauty products from brands like With Simplicity featured here in this blog post. I’ve also teamed up with the clean beauty brand to give away money to elevate your skincare for spring. Find me on Instagram to enter!  Rebelle Naturelle is another lovely Virginia-based women-owned beauty brand. Both carry clean products with ingredients that are kind and nurturing to a variety of skin concerns. For me, my eczema always comes into play when I explore skincare. Click here to see more of my dry skincare routine favs.

Start with a cleanse

Gentle cleaners work best for me. My PMD Cleansing Device is a big winner to get the most out of these products. I’ve had it for years and it’s still going strong. It really gets the cleaning power of your cleansers into your pores and helps foam up your cleansers.  I used the With Simplicity Cobo Skin Face Wash during my latest facial.

Tone it Up

Toners are a crucial step to helping your skincare products soak in like serums, moisturizers, and masks. Use it right after you wash your face, when your pores are most open. Let it dry a minute before applying your next at-home facial product. This collection of toners are each designed for a variety of skincare concerns. I love the Cooling & refreshing toner.

Exfoliate the Dead stuff

I only exfoliate a couple times a week because my skin is sensitive, but it is crucial to ensuring your skin can renew itself and absorb your products! I exfoliate after I cleanse and before I mask or moisturize my skin. I look for exfoliators that have moisturizing benefits. Never press too hard! A light scrub will do the trick.

Steam Those Pores

This trending skincare tool is making its way into all of my friends’ beauty routines. It’s not only totally peaceful to use, but it has many benefits. This is what will take your at-home facial to the next level. The facial steamers are very affordable. I found this one for $21. To use the facial steamer, fill the water tank, heat it up, and chill as you steam your face for anywhere between 2-10 minutes.

Mask It Up

Fortunately, we’re talking about a different kind of face mask here than we’re used to! We’re talking face masks with benefits, baby! Depending on your skin concerns, pick out a mask that is targeted toward your desired results–moisturizing, purifying, etc. I used the Matcha and Hyaluronic Defense Mask From With Simplicity. I like to mix it up, though, and keep a good collection at home for my next at-home facial. If you are using a mask that needs to be blended, I recommend investing in a mask mixing kit. It makes things MUCH easier. You don’t have to clean your kitchen bowls or wonder if you’re tasting a facemask or your cereal later! I just added this little $15 face mask mixing set to my Amazon cart.

Serum + Moisture Come Next

Lock in the benefits, baby! After you wash off your mask, follow up your at-home facial with your favorite serum and mosturizer. Again, these should be chosen and used based on your personal skincare concerns. A few of my favorite serums and moisturizers are listed in this blog post. Explore more options here.

Follow it Up with Clean Makeup

If you’ve got to put on makeup after your facial, then stick to the clean stuff. You don’t want to cake on products with toxins and other chemicals, especially when your pores are open and vulnerable. Shop options from With Simplicity,  and Beauty Counter.
