The It Color of Spring 2022: Pink Outfits to Recreate Now
I remember when a girl in middle school dyed a piece of her hair pink. I was so jealous! I was obsessed with the color. Eventually in my 20s, I got to dye my own hair pink and LOVED it. I almost did it again during lockdown, but my hair stylist insisted I don’t ruin her hard work! So, we’re back to wearing pink! Pink skirts, pink sweaters, pink pants, pink scarves, pink purses–you name it, I’ve got it all. I have been so happy to see that the color pink has been dominating major fashion retailer spring edits, blogger instagram and TikTok feeds, and my own Pinterest account is looking more pink than ever. I decided to lean into the trend and create some pink outfits for you to recreate this spring.

Cozy Pink Floral Skirt Outfit
I paired this pink patterned skirt with my white combat boots, a sweater, and a crispy white button down. The whole look was cozy and the white helped tone down the pink floral pattern a bit.

Pink Utility Jumpsuit
I had to get this as soon as I saw a client wear it. The pink outfit is one-and-done. I paired it here with sandals, but I also wore it with white booties. I think it would be fun to pair with some sparkly heels, too!

This pink outfit already hit the gram. I found this pink blazer at Goodwill. It’s a little oversized and I love it that way. It looks great over more fitted pieces like this black dress and slinky heels.

Add A Pink Head Scarf
This little scarf is from my grandma’s collection. I’ve been working to incorporate more of her scarves into my wardrobe. This was a simple way to add pink to my outfit: tie the pink scarf around my hair! Tip: I pulled my two front pieces of hair out first and clipped them together while I tied the scarf! Unclip your front hair pieces and you’re all done!

A Pink Floral Shirt and Pink Handbag
I couldn’t keep my eyes off this green shirt from Zara when I fist saw it. The pink florals embroidered on it are just so pretty. I made it mine! I’ve worn it a few ways, but loved pairing it with some white flare jeans and this little pink purse from my aunt for a flirty, yet pretty look. I call the bag my “Malibu Barbie” purse!

Here’s another pink piece in my closet from my grandmother’s collection. This pink button down shirt has been fun to wear open with a tank top underneath for a laid back look. l paired it with my favorite wide leg jeans and lilac Vans for a chill pink outfit.

Cropped Pink Sweater and Patterned Pants
This cropped pink sweater was a winter favorite for me. I’m looking forward to finding ways to style it for spring. Here, I paired it with some light and breezy patterned pants for a fun girls night out look. Add some scrappy heels to keep the look dressy.
