Blue Dress Dreams
You know sometimes when you see a dress and it’s just so beautiful you decide to walk right by it? It’s as if there’s no way it’s real? Then, 30 minutes later (or the next day) you realize it’s actually real and you totally need it in your life? Am I alone in this love-lust shopping tango?
This blue floral dress from Claville Fashion Truck was one such tease. I saw it at first and thought, “No, I’m sure it won’t work for me, but that pattern has me mesmerized.” So, I carried on shopping away and filled up my arms and dressing room with other gorgeous finds. You’ve seen a few of those here. Eventually, I came back to this dress, though, and decided it was worth a try.
Not only did I choose it as one of three looks I created for this collaboration with Jordan of Petite Modern Blog, but I also took it home with me that day! I plan to wear it with a jean jacket to a bachelorette winery tour in Charlottesville, VA this weekend.
Here, I let the dress shine without much except for a dazzling pair of blue crustal earrings ( also found at Claville) and some killer Urban Decay Lip Gloss. Jordan rocked a navy scalloped mini dress and a white cape blazer. She looks so chic, as always. We both opted for nude block heels–spring wardrobe staples!
