A Pink, White, and Black Valentine's Day

Happy Monday, lovers! How was your romantic dinner for two, your wild Fifty Shades movie date for five, or your solo sexy night in?

What’s Old is New

I had a pretty casual Valentine’s Day that involved a long mani pedi sesh (a gift to me, from me) and a dinner at home cooked by candle light after the power went out!! Good thing I snapped some photos before chaos ensued. We finished the night with good drinks with friends who had power.

pink trianlge necklace

I am wearing some really old pieces here, all of which I vowed to wear more of this year.

pink geometric necklace

The necklace is from Urban Outfitters like six years ago. Here is one like it from Stella & Dot.

black and white peplum jcrew

The shirt is J. Crew 2012 from one of my favorite local consignment shops in Richmond, Clementine. I found an XXS for sale on eBay here. Here is another black and white striped peplum top from Belk for only $6!

pink pants with black and white top

The pants are Divided for H&M, bought from Good Will for an 80s concert about 5 years ago. The closest I can find are these 7 for All Mankind jeans. Pardon my hair totally messed up by the wild wind.

nine west heels from ross

And, finally, the shoes, which are new. I have been lurking around Ross a lot lately because we just moved. One day, I couldn’t resist these Nine West shoes that are exactly what I’ve been looking for. All of my black heels are open-toed. These will get me through the rest of the cold months. I may even rock them to work.

 Closet Swap Makeover

Shasta had a fun date night with her man. They had dinner at Grapevine and came home to make a mug chocolate molten cake?! Yum. Then, they watched The Interview for the second time together. I need to get on that. Her outfit here features a blazer from my closet swap! Love it!

pink midi dress

I love this midi dress from Sparkle & Fade. It is sold out, but I found a stunning textured midi dress with a shell top at ASOS.

black blazer form closet swapCheck out her blazer! She got it at the Sweet Sauce closet swap. It reminds me of this bolero from H&M.

black booties

Finally, the booties that I’m sure made this really chilly Valentine’s Day much more bearable. She got them from H&M and also wore them throughout the holiday season. I couldn’t find suede ones, but I do love these leather black booties with a bit of a pointed toe.
