Style Profile: Ismail and His Obsession with Paul Smith
Name: Ismail Benjelloun

What: Ismail had a presentation that he felt required something a little more polished than his regular college student attire. He wanted to look clean and a little professional. As always, though, he said, he had to be himself.
Ismail actually worked in a Paul Smith store in Paris, France. He has an obsession with the brand and its quality. Ismail encouraged me to take a look at the materials my clothes are made out of and learn how to take care of them better.
Ismail says:
“I think fashion is a reflection of the person you are. People should wear clothes for themselves, not others. People should wear whatever they like, no matter what it is. Have fun with it. You should stop yourself in that moment in the morning when you wonder what someone will think about a certain shirt and then go back and put on the sweater you actually wanted to wear.”
