One Gray T-Shirt, Five Outfits
That’s right, I wore the same gray t-shirt for five days and documented each and every outfit. Truth be told, I’m wearing as I write this post underneath a long merlot cardigan that just came in the mail.
It all started when I was going through my drawers looking for another shirt. I pulled out this gray t-shirt that didn’t look quite like mine. I may have acquired it from years of using laundry mats. Who knows. The shirt has a bleach stain on the bottom and definitely isn’t new. It fits me just right, though. It’s soft and the perfect neutral gray.
I slipped it on one day and created a cute outfit and realized how versatile it was as I imagined several other combinations. As fall fashion floods our Instragram feeds, compelling us to buy, buy, buy, I’m here to help you think about how you can wear what you already have or how to look at items you are thinking of buying in many different ways. I’m still enamored with this white maxi skirt. I slipped it on for a casual day of errands and meetings. I failed to remember to shoot it, but I also rocked this with a white blazer I threw on before a more formal meeting. I was comfy, fresh, and felt a bit magical.

Twisted Tee Over a T-Shirt Dress
I love this dang t-shirt dress. I scored this with extra credits to ThredUp a while back. Get $10 to shop consignment online by clicking my special link here. I pulled my gray t-shirt over the dress and tied it in a knot for a little bit of extra shape. I was headed to daytime show. My man was playing the lunch shift at Potbelly.

Blazer, Olive Jeans and a Tshirt
These olive jeans I discovered at Versona are on my booty at least twice a week lately. I wear them with just about anything, including this old ass gray shirt. I threw on a blazer and booties for a more polished look. I was headed to a late brainstorming session at a coffee shop! BTW this blazer is also old AF, so did my best to find one like it below.

Black Vest and Black For a Day of Work
This was one of those days that started at 7 a.m. and ended at 9 p.m. From hosting an early morning networking meeting, to launching a website for an organization I work with, to hosting a charity night at the Kendra Scott Store in Richmond, this outfit was built to last. You can tell it had already been a long day by the wrinkles in my pants. I swapped out necklaces at the event, because, duh! Loved seeing bloggers Amanda of Truly Yours, A and May of The PDX Belle. They reminded me to wash my shirt. THanks, guys!

Vintage Babydoll Dress Layered over a Tshirt
Finally, my favorite look of them all. I wore this outfit to a lunch date with my favorite guy. I love this dress so much. I found this Bebe piece at my hometown thrift store. I am so glad I have found a way to wear it in cooler temperatures. I’m looking forward to rocking it with tights, booties, and turtlenecks this fall.
