I fell in love with this dark teal skirt from LuLu’s as soon as I saw it. It had “fancy holiday outfit” written all over it. I paired it with a vintage turtle neck during the day for a brunch at Belle & James.
That night, I wore it to a Christmas Party with a low-cut v-neck and a vintage sparkly blazer. The perfect black pumps were necessary so my 5′ 2″ frame didn’t get swallowed by the skirt. I felt fabulous and relatively warm. This will come out to play again for the winter party season. I’ll likely pair the skirt with striped sweaters, button down tops, and other fun patterns.

I have a similar dress with collar that I like to layer with a contrasting sweater and a nice chunky necklace – bit wetter where we are so I usually add opaque tights!
