Sweet, Sweet Layers

Oh, hey, Monday! I’ve been waiting for you. I’m just dying to start my rigorous work week. I don’t like my casual weekends, at all. I’d rather wear something stuffy for the board meeting I have to attend today.

Not.

I wish I could wear boho layers everyday like this every day. The base of this outfit is another solid score from Sweetest Stitch. The dress is soft and the fabric is high quality. It is easily going to be a regular in my winter wardrobe. It will create endless opportunities for layered looks. Pull over sweaters, scarves, fur vests, and long wool coats will all be fair game.

Here, I’m wearing my favorite long black vest. It’s been layer champion in my closet is this fall. You’ve seen me wear it here and here. I’ve rocked it to work a number of times to spice up my wrap dresses. I think I’ll wear it next with some distressed jeans and heels. Let’s see how I’m remixing it for a casual day of shopping with my bestie…
