Spring Sweaters + Boots

Spring Sweaters + Boots You Need Now

It’s officially spring! I’m not sure what else that means other than there is hope of warmer weather around the corner sort of, kind of soon. Who knows, though! We had one of our largest blizzards in Virginia in April when I was a child. Cold weather is always a threat and wind won’t go away. Two of your most crucial and versatile fashion items right now are spring sweaters and tall boots.

The Sweater

Don’t pack up your sweaters, yet. This pink lace up sweater flows and swings like a nice tunic. It feels light and airy, but still has a thick and soft feel. It still stays “Spring” without sacrificing the warmth.

It’s the perfect casual summer sweater. I’m wearing it here with white jeans to keep things bright. I have already worn it over distressed jeans with sneakers and plan to wear it to transition into warmer weather. A few ideas: rock it over a t-shirt dress, jean shorts, or even a maxi skirt to create different lines and angles.

The Boots

I cannot tell you how many ways I’ve worn these boots already. You can see them on Instagram with a romper here and with a t-shirt dress here. The grey suede boots are comfortable and light. They toned down this otherwise super bright outfit here. If it’s cold, but I want to wear something showing some skin like a dress, I wear thick knee-high socks underneath them. It’s like my own personal heater that makes anything comfortable in 50 degree weather.

I am going to an event tonight and already plan to wear them with a summer frock and suede vest. I’ll share a pic or two!
