Finding Your Niche: Personal Attention at Niche Fitness Studio

It seems like we encounter new fitness crazes every fucking day, and everyone’s trying to find their niche. Nestled in the Fan District behind a blushing pink Crepe myrtle (that just happens to be in full bloom right now) is a unique and refreshing brick and mortar business–Niche Fitness Studio. A welcoming presence, Katie, greets guests with a smile and friendly spirit. As soon as I noticed two kittens adopted from the RACC wandering in and out of my class space, I knew I’d struck gold. Specializing in small yoga, pilates, TRX, and a host of other classes and services, Niche is all about inclusivity and offering a personalized fitness experience.

Smaller, boutique fitness studios are different than large fitness classes or gyms because they tend to (you guessed it!) have smaller class sizes. This means each attendee gets a more personalized experience, and as a result, a more effective workout. Amongst other tools at Niche is the Pilates Reformer Machine–a well known powerhouse for an effective, full-body workout. The reformer aids in making muscles long, lean, and strong. It’s the perfect case of minimal effort and a maximum impact. You’ll likely find that classes at Niche Fitness Studio offer a sort of  “slow burn” effect–the workout slowly creeps up and suddenly you’re drenched in sweat wondering what happened (sound familiar?).

Aside from the attentive nature of the instructors, Niche isn’t as painstakingly awkward as other group fitness experiences can be. The space is modern, fresh, and inspiring. The mood is light. The instructors have a sense of humor and offer a wide variety of adjustments to make sure guests are comfortable. Pain shouldn’t be an acceptable feeling during a workout. We’re not about that life at Sweet Sauce. If small group classes are still a bit intimidating, Niche Fitness Studio also offers private training . The space embraces a strong sense of community, and all are welcome with open arms.

Finish out the summer with the Align & Sculpt Challenge. Over 10 weeks (starting the week of July 2), complete 15 small group classes and 1 private class with any instructor.
