Fall Winery Outfit Times Two
As I share these two fall winery outfit wins, I also want to share an ode to my best friend. I have said time and time again that Alex is one of my style icons. Every outfit she puts together is effortless. Her quiet confidence allows her to pull every look off with ease.
Our styles are totally different. She is a classy broad through and through. Alex can easily pick out styles that will last a lifetime. She rarely falls for trends, but still knows show to keep things creative and fun. She lives her life much like this and is one of the most peaceful people I know. My pendulum swings much wider in a fashion sense and in my lifestyle. I’m so grateful for her ability to never judge my wild ways while also bringing me back to center.
When we went shopping at a new favorite boutique, Versona in Short Pump Town Center, I was so excited to see how our final picks would compare. Of course, I went the boho route. I picked out this suede vest, a white mock neck tank (trend!), an earthy gem pendant necklace (trend!), and an olive pair of skinny jeans.
Alex picked out a soft grey turtleneck (classic!), a marble pendant necklace (classic!), and a felt hat (classic!). I barely kept any photos from this shoot of myself, because, well, LOOK AT HER. I have about 90 awkward photos of myself on my memory card. There are literally none of her. So, yes, I’m taking notes, Dean Alex.
We also wore our fall winery outfits to an amazing play of Steel Magnolias in our home town at the Louisa Arts Center. Who would have predicted our home town would have a killer arts center, several wineries, a consignment shop, and one awkward blogger who still comes back for more?
