Im back! During the past 10 days, I took a wild, relaxing, and love filled trip to Spain alongside my cousins, their friends and boyfriends, and my own partner in crime (and photographer). We budgeted and planned so long for this adventure it seemed. We spent two and a half days in Barcelona, two and half days in Ibiza, and the remaining days in Las Fuentes headquartered in a family beach home. I’ll be sharing some of my travel tips and suggestions later here on Sweet Sauce. Today, let’s talk fashion.
There were a few trends and patterns on display through my trip across the county. My curious and lustful eyes catalogued them all: flowing pants and shirts, long skirts, white converses, small leather backpacks, high waisted peek-a-boo shorts, bright colors, strong patterns, and linen pants. It was rare to see any man or woman walking around without having obviously taken some time to put themselves together. There were also very few overdressed people with the exception of a few areas of concentrated loud fashion in the flamboyant beaches and alley ways of Ibiza.
Then, you have me, who successfully packed 10 days worth of clothes, shoes, bathing suits, and toiletries in a carry on. This is probably one of my greatest fashion achievements. You’ll notice that I stuck with a color pallet (green, black, pink, off white) which helped me narrow down my choices and also make it easier to put together spontaneous outfits. I attempted to capture most of the outfits I created, mixed, and matched. I’ve linked to similar items for all of the outfits so you can create your own looks and I gave you a few discount tips, too.
I did not wear a shirt at all this day. These shorts, though, are the most comfortable, versatile thing ever. Get them here and get 10% off with my code at checkout: sweetsauce10.
How about those chubbies? This is what men wore almost exclusively on the beach. When in Rome…
