What to Expect at the 27th Annual Southern Women’s Show

When: Friday, March 16, 2018 – Sunday, March 18, 2018 (I’ll be going on Friday!)

Where: Richmond Raceway Complex, 600 East Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA 23222

Cost: $12.00 at the door; $15 for a Three-Day Pass

What: It’s as if all of the most lady like boutiques and businesses came together for a three-day extravaganza. At the Southern Women’s Show, you can shop and sample hundreds of food, fashion and beauty products. I got to sample dozens of items from vendors you’ll discover at the show. I shared most of them in Insta Stories last week and know hundreds of you tuned in. Here are a few of any favorites: Po River Apiary lavender flower-infused honey (Obsessed!), Organic Hemp Botanicals bath bomb, lip balm and lavender lotion, Fab Brows, JJ King’s Secret Sauce (Big fan!), Claire’s Cooking Lab bionic dessert booster and Claire’s signature adjustable spoon (so inspiring), Bungalow Décor, Room Escape USA, Color Street Nail Art, Clothes Mentor Short Pump, Food Lion kitchen props, and Fred Astaire Richmond dance lessons!

Stay tuned on Instagram because I might be giving away some of these items, too!

What Else?

There are lots of fun guest appearances and exciting events throughout the weekend. Here are a few Southern Women’s Show highlights I think are worth penciling in…

If you didn’t know already, one of my favorite Richmond nonprofits is Dress for Success Central Virginia. My friend and talented stylist Jonathan Copeland will present a fashion show on March 17 featuring looks with the donated attire they receive. DFS’s mission is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

If you want your entrepreneur fix, you have to make time to see Claire Hollingsworth, the 12-year-old Powhatan-based food scientist, STEM advocate, and founder of Claire’s Cooking Lab. The Food Network’’s youngest “Chopped Junior” champion will showcase her love of science and cooking with natural foods as well as her new patent pending invention, “No Fear Oven Mitt Sleeves.”

Someone say firefighters? You gotta catch one of the two Firefighter Fashion Shows to raise money for the Virginia State Firefighters Association.

See more events and vendors here.

Yeah, There’s a Giveaway

I’ve got a buttload of tickets, gift cards and more to giveaway! Follow me on Instagram for a few fun announcements throughout the week. I want to make sure you have all the fun at the Southern Women’s Show.

Keep scrolling to get a sneak peak of some of the goodies I’ve previewed… You can get them all this weekend!
