Quirk Hotel Gets A View: A Photo Recap

Quirk Hotel Gets A View

As I’ve traveled the world the past few years, I have grown a deeper love and appreciation for Richmond. While I get lust for other cities in my vacation modes, I still always find myself talking about Richmond and understand again why I still call the city home.

One thing I’ve noticed that other cities have that we should are roof top bars. We have the cityscapes and a gorgeous river that warrant a view. We have the crowd who likes to party, drink, and be fabulous. New York, Charleston, Barcelona, you name it, they all have a plethora of roof-top bars. So, why no roof top bars in RVA?

Ask and you shall receive, thanks to Quirk Hotel and eventually, Kabana.

As you all know, I have recently fallen in love with Richmond’s newest boutique, Mod & Soul. The boutique recently opened just down the block from Quirk Hotel. The art gallery turned hotel is breathtaking inside with large art pieces and trendy marble table tops. A soft opening of the new roof top bar went down on Thursday night. Jasmina of Mod & Soul invited me as her guest and I could not have been more grateful for the gorgeous dress I scored on the way to the event and for the company I met when I was there.

I chatted with other local bloggers, business owners, and guests. Everyone was elated to be on top of the city from one of Richmond’s trendiest spots. The staff were kind and the drinks were strong. I can’t wait to go back for happy hour meetings and date nights.

Here is my photo diary of the cocktail hour:

Christina let me style here. She hated the belt on her dress, so I helped her turn it into a necklace!
