Paint Night at Muse Paint Bar is a Perfect Girls Night in Richmond, VA
You might not know I was an art major in college. I’ve always been drawn to colors, details, and creative forms of self expression. One of my craftiest (and bestest) friends often inspires me to keep up with my DIY projects, painting, and more. When the opportunity to play catch up during a Paint Night at Richmond’s new Muse Paint Bar in Willow Lawn rose, we quickly cross referenced our calendars and found a date that would work. Muse recruits some awesome teachers. He must have been an acting major. He kept the crown feeling light, laughing, and laid back. It’s easy to get tied up if you’re a perfectionist. Reminders to relax we much needed for the crowd!
We got a lot of direction on color, but I had fun playing around with making my own colors. Everyone nudged each other along.
We made a big mess and that was part of the fun.
My besity went rogue and and created a subtle change to the design. I loved it. It reminded her more of our home at Lake Anna.
Finished products! We both gave them to our mothers who have more room for hanging things than we do. You can pick and chose which designs you want to do via the calendar online.
Obviously in my happy place. I think I’ll be heading back to Willow Lawn’s A.C. Moore soon to stock back up on my acrylic paints. The holidays re around the corner! I feel a few DIY projects coming on.
